Manual and automated testing - without the narrow lane
A quick summary of where I've been and what I actually do day to day.
I'm a Test Automation | Software QA Engineer with over three years of experience testing web, mobile, desktop and embedded/IoT systems, both manually and through automation. My main automation stack is C# and Python; I've also worked in JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL and Java as projects required.
I've worked across 10 projects and technical stacks - from a drone-detection mobile platform to an IoT plant-care system with BLE sensors and OTA firmware updates, to medical software and an AI-driven sports broadcasting platform. I've worked in both Scrum and Kanban teams, and communicate daily with English-speaking teams and clients across the US, EU and Israel.
I'm looking for my next QA role abroad - open to relocating or working remotely with a team that ships fast and takes testing seriously.

Running QA across three concurrent projects: a drone-detection mobile platform for a Danish client, a full-stack IoT plant-care ecosystem (firmware to cloud), and an internal workforce management platform.
Extended a C#/.NET automation framework for a medical-hardware-integrated web app; UI/API automation, Jenkins CI, code review, localization testing.
Automated tests across desktop and web surfaces for a team of 10-20 people; regression, sanity and e2e coverage.
Automated tests for an AI-driven camera/video-analysis broadcasting platform (Israeli client), then reassigned to two shorter SoftServe engagements between client projects - normal staffing flow at outsourcing firms, not separate job changes.
Manual functional and regression testing for a web/mobile product (US client), plus early automation with Playwright.

Drone Detection App
Mobile platform (Android/iOS) using a phone camera + IMU to detect and classify drones in real time, with peer-to-peer detector/receiver communication and Azure cloud sync.
My role: cross-platform functional/regression/exploratory testing, verifying camera-based data capture and cloud sync workflows, validating P2P device communication and connection stability.
IoT Plant Care Platform
Multi-device irrigation & lighting system with custom BLE water sensors, a mobile app, web admin panel, and AWS cloud backend, with full OTA update support.
My role: end-to-end IoT QA - BLE/GATT and MQTT validation, OTA update & rollback testing (MCUboot), AWS IoT Fleet Provisioning and certificate-lifecycle testing.
Nurses' Medications Management App
A web app interfacing with medical hardware to help nurses securely order, track and report drug administrations.
My role: extended the C#/.NET automation framework, built UI & API automated tests, integrated them into Jenkins CI, and automated localization test scenarios.
Company Management Platform
Internal platform unifying employee time tracking, project assignment and resource allocation into one system.
My role: functional, performance, compatibility and regression testing; built and maintained automation utilities/helpers for the QA team.
