Cross-platform Product QA

Functional, exploratory, localization and requirements-based testing for an ongoing product spanning web, Android and iOS.

My role

  • Covered the product across its public web experiences, internal workflows, and Android/iOS applications.
  • Performed functional and exploratory testing, executed existing TestRail suites, and created new test cases from requirements and observed behavior.
  • Owned functional and visual checks for multiple language-specific landing experiences.
  • Compared implemented pages with approved Figma designs and reported functional, content and layout defects.

Technical challenges

  • The product surface crossed web and mobile platforms, requiring consistent coverage while respecting platform-specific behavior.
  • Localized landing pages needed both language and functional checks: translated content, missing elements, links, forms and layouts affected by different text lengths.
  • Coverage combined written requirements, existing cases and exploratory testing, so gaps had to be identified and converted into reusable test cases.

My approach

I mapped the main workflows and requirements, executed the available test cases, added exploratory charters around higher-risk behavior, and wrote new cases where expected coverage was missing. Across web, Android and iOS, I verified the requested flows, investigated beyond the happy path, reported reproducible defects and retested the fixes.

For localization, I reviewed each language-specific landing experience against its content and Figma design, then exercised links, forms and responsive behavior rather than treating translation as a text-only check.

Delivered QA scope
  • Testing produced actionable functional, localization and visual findings across the product's web and mobile surfaces.
  • Localization coverage uncovered incorrect or missing translations, missing elements, broken layouts and differences from approved designs.
  • New test cases preserved coverage beyond exploratory sessions. Findings were addressed and retested, and the delivered QA scope was accepted for the ongoing product.
